About Russ Riendeau
Russell Riendeau, Ph.D., is the senior partner of The East Wing Group, Inc. Since 1985, Russ has interviewed over 75,000 business professionals—more interviews than Oprah, Leno and Letterman combined. Yikes. With thousands of searches completed with midsize and Fortune 500 corporations in identifying presidents, directors, VP/GM candidates, as well as sales professionals, he’s won numerous recruiting excellence awards, and is also an internationally recognized speaker on best practices in search methodology, talent acquisition and retention strategies.
Dr. Riendeau has shared his insights and research on talent acquisition and career management in six books over the past 12 years. His ideas, interviews and writings have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune and Sales & Marketing Magazine and numerous guest TV/radio appearances. Russ earned a doctorate in developmental psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, a M.A. in psychology and a B.A. in applied behavioral sciences from National-Louis University, in Chicago. Russ is also an aviator, runner, golfer, cyclist, guitarist and hockey player. He and his family live in Barrington, Illinois.
